NISAA Business Forum 2019 organised by Northern India Steamer Agents Association is an effort to bring together the maritime stakeholders of the NCR region and from across the country to present the potential that exists, to deliberate on the challenges being faced and to evolve the way forward for a larger, inclusive and sustainable growth of the maritime industry in North India and the country as a whole.
It is spread over three sessions which will broadly focus on ‘Is north India ready for 2020?’, a release said. The business forum will involve a broad spectrum of key individuals from the industry, including those from shippers, ports operators, shipping lines, container train operators, ICD operators and allied logistics service providers.
Capt. D. Mishra, President of NISAA said, the forum will debate on the north India’s hinterland connectivity and future. Also address the various challenges confronting ex-im cargo, logistics and shipping industry and lay a road map for a well-established logistics infrastructure. stakeholders would get an opportunity to network with senior officials, business leaders and market experts to forge new partnerships and gain new business and a competitive advantage he added.
More than 200 delegates are participating across the region including exporters, importers and logistics service providers, as well as those involved in various sectors linked to the marine industry will attend the forum to know about the opportunities in the region of north.
The forum begins at 2.00 pm at Crowne Plaza, Okhla, New Delhi.
