Globicon Terminals, Nava Sheva, has announced that it is all set to become the first “Faceless CFS,” which means customers henceforth need not visit the CFS to get their job done. Globicon announced this during the launch of its “Customer Portal.
In pursuit of GOI initiative of “Faceless Customs,” the Globicon has vigorously pursued its digital agenda to be the First Faceless CFS, said the company release.
Speaking on occasion, Nityam Khosla, Director,Globicon, said,“it is our constant endeavour to raise service standards through continuous reformation of our existing business processes.”
Vivek Kele, Director, Globicon, who is leading this initiative said, “We are constantly striving hard to digitally transform ourselves to the changing Industry demands and customer needs and exploiting the digital disruption at core of our Business Strategy.”
He further added that apart from expanding their current service deliverables, the new platform will improve the engagement with the clients by increasing transparency, access to information and better management tools.
The terminal claims many firsts to its credit including first Green CFS, first WhatsApp-based tracking, first to offer temperature controlled common warehouse and first to offer ambient temperature Haz warehouse, among others.
