Stellar Value Chain Solutions, a tech-driven third-party value-added warehouse and distribution service provider, is planning to add over 10 million sq ft to its logistics portfolio in the next two years in the backdrop of rising demand for warehousing spaces across the country.

The company is looking to support the new portfolio growth plan through a primary fundraising worth up to ‘400 crore in the next couple of months.

“We are expanding our portfolio aggressively as demand has been robust especially from the automobile and consumer segment including fashion, retail, appliances and so on. Infusion of primary capital of up to ‘400 crore will help us finance this expansion,” Anshuman Singh, CMD, Stellar Value Chain Solutions, said.

The company is already in talks with financial and strategic investors to pick up stake in one of the largest tech-enabled 3PL warehouse and distribution solutions providers in the country, he added.

The company’s strategic partner Warburg Pincus is also exploring a possibility of either a partial or complete exit at an appropriate valuation after being invested for over six years.

Singh, the founder of the company, will continue to build its operations and drive future growth.

The third-party logistics (3PL) company’s current portfolio is over 16 million sq ft spread across 80 properties in 21 cities in India. In the last one month alone, it has added over 2 million sq ft primarily aimed at efficiently managing pan-India supply chain operations for a consumer durable giant.

Stellar Value Chain Solutions has added 1.5 million sq ft warehousing space through distribution centres at Bhiwandi near Mumbai and 0.5 million sq ft at Banur in Punjab. With this, the company has taken over the pan-India central distribution centre operations at these hubs and two regional distribution centres of the consumer durable major.

The company has released a new request for quotation (RFQ) of 10 million sq ft of total logistics space to be developed either through the built-to-suit route or the ready to move option as the need may be over the next two years. The built to suit facilities are being explored across Mumbai, Bangalore, Lucknow, Patna, Guwahati, and few other cities, while the ready-to-move options are being explored across the 21 major cities in the country where Stellar has already established a considerable presence.
