    Visakhapatnam Port Authority (VPA) announces the launch of premium domestic cruise services from its state-of-the-art International Cruise Terminal, marking a significant milestone in India’s coastal tourism landscape. The luxury Cordelia Cruise will commence its maiden voyage from Visakhapatnam on July 2, 2025, following its departure from Chennai.

    This initiative is part of VPA’s continued commitment to boosting coastal tourism, enhancing passenger experience, and establishing Visakhapatnam as a key maritime and tourism hub on the East Coast of India.

    The cruise will operate on a circular route: Chennai-Visakhapatnam-Puducherry-Chennai, with scheduled stops at Visakhapatnam on July 2, July 9, and July 16, 2025.

    Visakhapatnam Port Authority has developed world-class passenger terminal infrastructure equipped with modern amenities to accommodate cruise tourism. This development not only fosters economic opportunities for the region but also promotes Visakhapatnam as a preferred cruise destination. VPA reaffirms its vision to unlock new gateways to coastal voyages and create memorable travel experiences for domestic and international tourists alike.
