Container Corporation of India Ltd. (CONCOR) has successfully commenced the export of copper concentrate to China from its state-of-the-art Multi-Modal Logistics Park (MMLP) at Naya Raipur, marking a key milestone in the facility’s growing role as a strategic logistics hub in Central India.

The inaugural rake, comprising 90 TEUs, was successfully loaded and dispatched to Visakhapatnam Port (VZP) on November 11, 2025. The consignment is being handled by Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL) with logistics support from freight forwarders BOXCO and CJ DARCL. The total export volume stands at 12,000 metric tons, which will be shipped to China through ONE Line.

This development highlights the operational efficiency and multimodal capabilities of CONCOR’s logistics network in supporting large-scale export movements. By integrating rail connectivity with port operations, the initiative reinforces the company’s commitment to facilitating seamless end-to-end logistics solutions for India’s growing export sector.

A CONCOR spokesperson expressed appreciation for the cooperation extended by Customs authorities and allied agencies, whose support was instrumental in enabling the successful commencement of this service.

The new export movement not only enhances trade connectivity between India and China but also demonstrates the potential of MMLP Naya Raipur as a catalyst for regional economic growth and global trade integration.
