Netradyne has partnered with BillionE Mobility to deploy its AI-powered Driver•i platform across the company’s growing electric fleet in India. The move aims to improve driver performance, enhance safety, and optimise fleet operations as the country’s electric mobility sector rapidly expands.

The partnership reflects a rising trend in India’s EV ecosystem, where fleet operators are increasingly using advanced telematics to strengthen efficiency and ensure safer mobility. BillionE will use Driver•i not only for in-cab alerts but also for a more detailed, data-based safety and coaching programme.

Sanjeev Kulkarni, CEO of BillionE Mobility, said the company wants safety and efficiency to progress together in India’s EV revolution. He noted that while their Ashok Leyland electric vehicles already had Netradyne’s basic alerts, they required deeper insights to support drivers and improve performance. He added that airport ground support is a key area of focus, and the company plans to introduce AI-enabled driver monitoring to improve safety for passengers and staff during ground operations.

The Driver•i platform analyses real-time driver behaviour during 100 percent of driving time. It offers instant alerts for risks like distracted driving and tailgating, while also recognising positive driving actions. Fleet managers can access near real-time video on demand and detailed performance insights, which are essential for effective electric fleet management.

Durgadutt Nedungadi, Senior Vice President – EMEA & APAC Business at Netradyne, said the collaboration brings together two innovators working to advance India’s sustainable mobility goals. He added that safety and efficiency are closely linked in the electric era, and Netradyne’s technology will help BillionE reduce risks and improve fleet performance.
