The Government of India has issued Office Order No. 3212025 entrusting Shri Sushil Kumar Singh, the current Chairperson of Deendayal Port Authority, with the additional charge of Chairperson, New Mangalore Port Authority.

The arrangement comes into effect from December 1, 2025, and will remain in force for six months, or until a new Chairperson is appointed, or until further orders—whichever occurs earlier.

According to the order, the decision has been made in anticipation of approval by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC). The assignment has received the approval of the Hon’ble Minister for Ports, Shipping and Waterways.

Shri Singh, a seasoned port and maritime sector administrator, will now oversee operations at both Deendayal Port Authority and New Mangalore Port Authority during this interim period.
