    HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering (HD KSOE) said its shipbuilding subsidiary HD Hyundai Samho has signed a contract worth 689.6 billion won ($462.0 million) to build four container ships for an Oceania-based shipowner.

    The vessels will be constructed at HD Hyundai Samho’s yard in South Korea, with deliveries scheduled sequentially by the second half of 2028.

    The contract period runs from Dec. 18, 2025 to Nov. 20, 2028, and payments are to be received in line with construction progress.

    The counterparty was not disclosed in the public filing, and the announcement did not provide the ships’ capacity, propulsion type, or chartering details.
