    MS Sirena, a luxury cruise vessel, arrived at New Mangalore Port on Sunday, marking the third cruise call of the season and further strengthening the region’s growing cruise tourism sector.

    The ship brought 619 international cruise passengers to the coastal city of Mangaluru. Upon arrival, tourists were accorded a warm traditional welcome at the port’s cruise terminal, showcasing the rich culture, heritage, and hospitality of coastal Karnataka.

    During their visit, passengers explored several prominent tourist attractions around Mangaluru and nearby destinations, experiencing the region’s scenic coastline, temples, and cultural landmarks.

    Port officials noted that the arrival of MS Sirena highlights New Mangalore Port’s increasing role in promoting maritime tourism and positioning the port as an attractive cruise destination on India’s west coast. The steady inflow of cruise liners is expected to boost local tourism, trade, and hospitality sectors while showcasing the unique charm of coastal Karnataka to global travellers.
