The Port of Corpus Christi has recorded the strongest first quarter in its history, driven by robust energy exports, rising bulk cargo volumes, and sustained demand for US Gulf Coast trade flows.

Port officials said strong crude oil, liquefied natural gas, refined products, and dry bulk movements helped lift overall throughput during the opening months of the year, reinforcing the port’s status as a major energy gateway.

The record performance also reflects continued infrastructure expansion, channel improvement projects, and growing connectivity that have enabled larger vessel calls and faster cargo movement.

Industry analysts view the results as another sign of the Port of Corpus Christi’s increasing strategic importance in global energy supply chains and international commodity markets.
