NRS Corporation has opened a new DG warehouse in Shanghai’s chemical hub, expanding its capabilities in the safe storage and handling of hazardous materials for industrial supply chains.

The DG facility, designed for dangerous goods storage, is expected to support customers in sectors such as chemicals, pharmaceuticals, specialty materials, electronics, and manufacturing. Warehouses handling such cargo require strict compliance with fire safety, environmental, and hazardous goods regulations.

Located in one of Shanghai’s major chemical logistics zones, the new warehouse is strategically positioned to serve producers, importers, and exporters requiring efficient access to port, road, and industrial networks.

Industry experts said demand for specialised dangerous goods warehousing has been rising as manufacturers seek compliant storage solutions, faster distribution, and improved risk management for regulated cargo.

NRS Corporation’s investment also reflects broader growth in China’s advanced logistics infrastructure, where dedicated facilities are becoming increasingly important for high-value and sensitive materials.

Analysts note that the new DG warehouse strengthens supply chain resilience in the region while helping customers meet stringent safety standards and streamline movement through one of Asia’s largest industrial and trading centres.
