V.O. Chidambaranar Port Authority (VOC Port) held a stakeholder interaction meeting aimed at addressing operational challenges and further improving the ease of doing business at the port.
The meeting was chaired by Shri Susanta Kumar Purohit, IRSEE, Chairperson, V.O. Chidambaranar Port Authority, in the presence of Shri Rajesh Soundararajan, IAS, Deputy Chairperson.
The interaction brought together port users, port officials, Customs authorities, terminal operators and other key stakeholders. Discussions focused on operational issues and concerns raised by port users, along with the measures being undertaken by the Port Management to resolve these challenges.
The meeting provided an important platform for stakeholders to share feedback, identify areas requiring improvement and discuss measures to streamline port operations. Particular emphasis was placed on facilitating smoother business processes, improving operational efficiency and enhancing coordination among various stakeholders.
The stakeholder interaction reaffirmed VOC Port’s commitment to responsive administration, continuous engagement with the maritime trade community and the creation of a more efficient and business-friendly port ecosystem.
The Port Authority said continued dialogue with stakeholders would help identify practical solutions and strengthen the overall efficiency and competitiveness of port operations.
