CMA CGM is strengthening maritime connectivity between Turkey and India through its MEDEX service, providing a direct shipping link between key ports in the two markets.

The service is designed to support trade flows between the Mediterranean and Indian subcontinent, offering exporters and importers improved access to regional markets and more efficient cargo connections.

The MEDEX service connects major ports in Turkey and the Mediterranean with destinations in India, supporting the movement of containers carrying manufactured goods, industrial products, consumer cargo and other commodities.

The enhanced connection is expected to benefit Turkish exporters seeking access to India’s growing market while giving Indian businesses improved connectivity with Turkey and surrounding European and Mediterranean markets.

CMA CGM’s move comes as trade between India and the Mediterranean continues to expand, creating demand for reliable and competitive container shipping services.

By strengthening the MEDEX network, the carrier aims to provide customers with additional routing options and support smoother cargo movement between Turkey and India. The service also reinforces CMA CGM’s presence on an important trade corridor linking the Mediterranean with South Asia.
