Safexpress, which serves more than 5000 customers across the nation, marked this alliance by adding its 100th Eicher truck to its fleet this fiscal year.

Alongside this milestone, Eicher handed over India’s inaugural 5.5 T electric truck, the Eicher Pro 2055 EV, to Safexpress. This step underscores Eicher Trucks and Buses’ dedication to collaborate with clients in reducing transportation-related carbon footprint, aligning with the government’s net-zero vision.

The Eicher Pro 2055 EV, built on established electric vehicle technology, offers efficient intra-city solutions. It features a 12ft deck length and supports multiple container solutions with fast and slow charging options, tailored for diverse applications.

Vinod Aggarwal, VECV’s Managing Director and CEO, said that the partnership with Safexpress is flourishing. The occasion acknowledges the delivery of Safexpress’ 100th Eicher truck this fiscal year, alongside the launch of India’s inaugural 5.5-ton GVW electric truck, the Eicher Pro 2055 EV. Prioritising sustainability and uptime, the collaboration with Safexpress continues to gain strength.
