    Shipping giant, Hapag-Lloyd has announced that a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) will be implemented from Europe, North and Latin America to Mombasa, Kenya and Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.

    The details of this PSS are listed below:

    • $500 per container
    • Applicable from 15 August, 2024, until further notice, from North Europe and South Europe
    • Applicable from 1 September, 2024, until further notice, from North America and Latin America

    Earlier this month, Hapag-Lloyd, announced that Camillo Fontana will become Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Hanseatic Global Terminals (HGT) effective 1 August 2024.
