    Hapag-Lloyd has announced a General Rate Increase (GRI) for shipments from Chile to North America, effective from 5 October.

    This increase will apply to both dry and reefer containers and will remain in effect until further notice.

    The specifics of the increase are as follows:

    • From Chile to the US East Coast, US Gulf, and Canada East Coast: US$200 per dry container
    • From Chile to the US East Coast: US$300 per reefer container
