Hong Kong Air Cargo announced the official launch of a new weekly all-cargo route between Hong Kong and Birmingham, U.K., operated by the Airbus A330-200F cargo freighter.

Gary Zhan, Chairman, Hong Kong Air Cargo says: “We are thrilled to open this new route. Birmingham, the U.K.’s second-largest city, is now our second new destination in the country following the launch of our London route in February this year. This is a significant milestone in our network expansion plan, and will enhance cargo logistics and trade between Hong Kong, Birmingham, and the central region of the U.K. We look forward to providing our customers with superior service.”

Hong Kong Air Cargo had earlier announced the launch of a new all-cargo route between Hong Kong and Budapest, Hungary, with two weekly flights operated by the Airbus A330-200F cargo freighter. The launch marked the fifth new destination added by Hong Kong Air Cargo this year, further expanding the company’s international route network and strengthening Hong Kong’s position as an international cargo hub.
