Adani Gangavaram Port Limited (AGPL), India’s deepest and one of the most modern ports, has achieved a new operational milestone by handling 66 vessels in August 2025 — the highest ever in a single month. This surpasses its previous record of 61 vessels handled in January 2024.

The achievement was driven by enhanced scheduling, robust planning, and seamless coordination across marine, logistics, and terminal teams. Round-the-clock operations and a strong customer-centric approach enabled faster turnaround and smooth cargo movement.

The port, which handles containers, bulk, and break-bulk cargo, continues to strengthen its role as a key maritime gateway on India’s east coast.

“This record-breaking achievement is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our entire team,” AGPL management said, adding that the port remains focused on setting new benchmarks in sustainable, integrated, and future-ready operations.
