Adani Logistics has strengthened its multimodal logistics network with the introduction of new domestic dwarf containers and the expansion of services at its Inland Container Depot (ICD) in Virochannagar.

The move is aimed at accelerating the shift from road to rail transport, enabling more carbon-efficient cargo movement while improving operational efficiency. The deployment of dwarf containers—designed to maximize payload within standard height restrictions—will support seamless full rake operations across key domestic routes.

With enhanced infrastructure and service capabilities at the Virochannagar ICD, Adani Logistics is set to improve cargo handling capacity, reliability, and turnaround times. The initiative aligns with the broader industry push toward sustainable logistics solutions, reducing emissions while optimizing supply chain performance.

This development marks a significant step in strengthening India’s rail-linked logistics ecosystem, positioning Adani Logistics to better serve growing domestic cargo demand with greener and more efficient transport options.
