Adani Petronet (Dahej) Port Limited (APDPL) has achieved a significant operational milestone with the successful loading and dispatch of its first Mini BCN fertilizer rake from the port’s MAPD railway siding, strengthening its multimodal cargo handling capabilities. The achievement marks a new chapter in fertilizer logistics and rail evacuation operations at the port.

The successful movement highlights the port’s growing efficiency in handling fertilizer cargo and leveraging its rail infrastructure to ensure faster and more reliable cargo evacuation. The milestone also reflects the coordinated efforts of port operations, rail teams, and logistics stakeholders in enhancing supply chain performance.

Located at Dahej in Gujarat, APDPL is equipped with dedicated rail connectivity through the MAPD siding, which features rapid wagon loading systems designed to facilitate efficient bulk cargo movement. The port serves as a key gateway for fertilizer, agri-bulk, and other dry bulk commodities destined for industrial and agricultural markets across India.

The commissioning of the first Mini BCN fertilizer rake is expected to support higher cargo throughput, improve turnaround times, and further strengthen the port’s position as a strategic logistics hub for bulk commodity transportation.
