The Adani Rural Sports Promotion cricket tournament was held with great enthusiasm, and the closing ceremony was held at Gangavaram, presided over by the CEO of Adani Gangavaram Port along with the CI of New Port Police Station and senior officials from the port and the Adani Foundation. The event saw the participation of 15 teams and over 250 youth from Gangavaram, Dibbapalem, and Srinagar villages, highlighting the importance of sports and community engagement in rural areas.
During the ceremony, the winners and runners-up of the tournament were awarded trophies and prizes, celebrating their dedication and sportsmanship. Other dignitaries emphasized the importance of education and sports as essential pillars for youth development and empowerment.
The village leaders and the village sports committee expressed their gratitude to Adani for supporting the various development activities under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. Their efforts have positively impacted the villages, driving growth and collaboration among local communities.
