Aegis Logistics has announced a proposed capacity addition of 61,000 kilolitres (KL) at its Pirpau facility near the old Pirpau berth at Mumbai Port. The expansion, effective from 6 September 2025, entails an investment of ₹99.88 crore, funded through internal accruals.

The company said the new capacity will cater to growing demand from both existing and new customers, while easing pressure on its current liquid storage facilities in Mumbai. It added that the expansion will enhance operational resilience and strengthen its competitive edge.

Aegis Logistics operates in the import and distribution of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), along with storage and terminalling facilities for LPG, petroleum, oil, and chemical products.

For Q1 FY26, the company reported a marginal 0.01% decline in consolidated net profit at ₹131.32 crore, despite a 7.4% rise in revenue to ₹1,719.41 crore year-on-year.

On Monday, shares of Aegis Logistics closed 0.13% higher at ₹709.80 on the BSE.
