Allcargo Logistics Limited has reported its highest-ever quarterly revenue across both its Express Distribution and Contract Logistics businesses for the first quarter of FY27, supported by healthy volume growth, pricing discipline and operational efficiencies.

The integrated logistics company posted a 39% year-on-year increase in EBITDA. In comparison, Profit Before Tax (before exceptional items) surged 258%, reflecting improved profitability driven by operational excellence and stronger customer engagement.

The company’s Express Distribution business recorded a 13.5% year-on-year revenue growth in Q1 FY27, aided by improved operational performance and enhanced service quality.

Meanwhile, the Contract Logistics business registered 6% revenue growth, supported by efficiency-led expansion, over 99% service quality adherence, strong customer retention, increased presence across diverse industry sectors and new business wins.

Commenting on the performance, Ketan Kulkarni, Managing Director & CEO of Allcargo Logistics Limited, said the results reflected disciplined execution across businesses, with growth driven by higher shipment volumes, stronger customer relationships and sustained operational improvements.

He said the company has strengthened customer service through a more personalised account management approach, while its service-led pricing strategy improved yields during the quarter. The company also continued expanding its customer base across multiple industry segments.

Kulkarni highlighted the growing role of artificial intelligence and data analytics in the company’s operations, noting that AI-driven tools are being leveraged to improve demand forecasting, optimise network planning, enhance shipment visibility and enable faster operational decision-making. Continuous network optimisation, better asset utilisation and disciplined cost management also contributed to improved profitability.

Looking ahead, Allcargo Logistics expects business momentum to strengthen further in the second and third quarters, particularly during the festive season. The company said it will continue to focus on disciplined pricing, superior customer experience, operational excellence, deeper market penetration and greater adoption of AI and digital technologies to drive sustainable and profitable growth.
