    The Association of Multimodal Transport Operators of India (AMTOI), a pivotal organization representing the interests of logistics, shipping, and multimodal transport operators, recently announced the appointment of its new office bearers for the term 2024-25. The announcement was made during AMTOI’s Annual General Meeting, where prominent industry leaders gathered to celebrate the sector’s progress and acknowledge exemplary
    contributions.

    Mr. Arun Kumar has been elected as the President, with Mr. Devpal Menon stepping into the role of Vice President. Mr. Haresh Lalwani has taken on the position of Honorary Secretary, while Mr. Vasant Pathak will serve as the Honorary Treasurer. The newly elected team, known for their vast experience and commitment to the logistics and multimodal transport sector, aims to further AMTOI’s mission of promoting efficient multimodal transport systems across India.

    Arun Kumar, AMTOI’s newly elected President, expressed his enthusiasm for the road ahead: “I am honoured to take on this role and work alongside the incredible talent within AMTOI. Our focus will be on innovation, strengthening the framework for multimodal transport, and advocating for policies that will enhance India’s logistics capabilities.”

    The AGM not only marked the leadership transition but also underscored AMTOI’s ongoing dedication to fostering collaboration, innovation, and sustainable growth within the industry . With the new leadership in place, AMTOI is poised to drive forward initiatives in digital transformation, sustainability, and strategic partnerships, ensuring India’s logistics sector remains competitive on a global stage.
