In a landmark initiative aimed at advancing sustainability, ATOZ Logistics has introduced a fleet of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) trucks at Carlsberg’s Unnao brewery. This sustainability project underscores the commitment of both companies, ATOZ Logistics and Carlsberg India to reducing carbon emissions and fostering green logistics.

Carlsberg India’s introduction of CNG trucks at its Unnao facility is part of its broader “Together Towards Zero and Beyond” initiative, which aims to achieve zero carbon emissions and reduce environmental impact across its operations. Each CNG truck deployed at the brewery is projected to save over 1450 kg of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) per month, significantly contributing to cleaner operations and a greener future. They have shared information on their Linkedin post as well.

ATOZ Logistics, a prominent leader in the logistics sector with over 25 years of experience, has played a pivotal role in this eco-friendly initiative. Known for its comprehensive range of services—including trucking, dedicated fleet, port shipping, warehousing, and rail transport—the company has already transformed 50% of its fleet to CNG. This transformation includes both the acquisition of new CNG trucks as well as the conversion of existing diesel trucks to CNG. This major shift reflects ATOZ Logistics’ dedication to promoting sustainability in the logistics industry.

Ashish Jindal, one of the directors at ATOZ Logistics, shared the vision behind this CNG initiative: “With Every Turn, We Weave a Greener Dream. Logistics is a central part of any country’s economy, and when it embraces green solutions, it sets a powerful example for other industries as well.” This perspective highlights ATOZ Logistics’ commitment to leading the charge in sustainable logistics and setting industry standards.

The introduction of CNG trucks is especially significant in India, where there are over 1.5 million trucks operating nationwide. The shift to #GreenLogistics is essential for addressing the challenges of emissions reduction and promoting environmental responsibility across the industry. By choosing logistics partners that prioritize sustainability, companies can align their operations with green practices and contribute to broader environmental goals.

This collaborative effort between ATOZ Logistics and Carlsberg India not only exemplifies their commitment to sustainability but also sets a new benchmark for the logistics and brewing industries. The move to integrate CNG technology into their operations demonstrates how industry leaders can drive impactful change through innovative and eco-friendly solutions.
