BLR, a leading logistics company in India, has launched a monthly cross-border rail service to Nepal. This initiative offers efficient, cost-effective, and eco-friendly transportation solutions for both Indian and international clients.

The service began on April 28, 2025, with the journey from Jhagadia to Ankleshwar ICD. The onward loading was completed by May 15, 2025, and the train to Birgunj ICD via Raxaul was flagged off on the same day.

The monthly rail services will connect Gujarat, Rajasthan, NCR, and Chennai to Birgunj, Nepal, providing reduced road transportation pressure, logistics cost savings, and zero carbon emissions, supporting green initiatives.

The company plans to expand its services to more destinations to meet growing customer demands.
