Blue Dart, South Asia’s leading express air, transportation, and distribution company, has inaugurated its largest Green Integrated Ground Hub in Pataudi, Haryana, marking a major milestone in the company’s efforts to expand its infrastructure and drive sustainable logistics growth in India.

The new hub, spread across 50,558 square metres, is designed to bring multiple operations under one roof, integrating e-commerce, domestic express, and ground shipments into a single streamlined ecosystem. The facility was officially unveiled at a ceremony on October 10, and will serve as a key logistics node for North India, boosting Blue Dart’s operational efficiency, scalability, and connectivity across its nationwide express network.

Strategically positioned 50 kilometres from New Delhi airport, the Pataudi hub provides seamless multimodal connectivity to Delhi-NCR and major national expressways. This central location enables Centre of Gravity (COG) optimization, reducing vehicle movement by 30% and enhancing throughput speed by 10% — translating into faster deliveries and reduced transit times for customers.

The facility boasts an auto sorter capacity of 200,000 shipments per day and can handle up to 2,283 tonnes of cargo daily. Equipped with advanced automation systems, motorized conveyors, and optimized load-handling processes, the Pataudi hub is future-ready through 2033. These technologies collectively reduce dwell time and increase throughput efficiency by 10–15%, further strengthening Blue Dart’s capacity to support India’s fast-growing
    logistics and e-commerce ecosystem.

“The North Integrated Ground Hub is a symbol of sustainability, automation, and scalability,” said Balfour Manuel, Managing Director, Blue Dart. “We are enabling faster, more reliable deliveries for our customers while supporting India’s economic and environmental goals. As we continue to expand our network with such state-of-the-art facilities, Blue Dart remains committed to being the Provider of Choice for businesses and communities across the country. This milestone strengthens our role as a trade facilitator, advancing our promise of speed, resilience, and sustainable growth.”

Sustainability is at the heart of the Pataudi hub’s design. The facility incorporates several GoGreen initiatives, including a 600 KVA rooftop solar power plant, on-site EV charging infrastructure, and natural skylights that reduce energy consumption. By consolidating operations and minimizing vehicle trips, Blue Dart expects to significantly reduce fuel use and carbon emissions, furthering its commitment to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050.

With over 250 ground network routes, eight dedicated freighter aircraft, and coverage across 19,000+ pin codes, Blue Dart continues to reinforce its position as a pioneer in integrated express logistics. The launch of the Pataudi facility underscores the company’s strategy of combining technology, automation, and sustainability to meet India’s rapidly expanding logistics demands.

The Pataudi Green Integrated Ground Hub is expected to play a pivotal role in enhancing national express connectivity, promoting greener supply chain operations, and driving Blue Dart’s long-term vision of sustainable, efficient, and reliable logistics solutions for India.
