Brajeshwori Industries Pvt Ltd, a leading baby hygiene manufacturer in Nepal, has reportedly become the first Nepali company in its category to obtain certification from the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).

The certification enables the company to resume exports of its diaper products to India, which had been halted for six months due to new Indian import regulations, the company said.

Founded in 2019, Brajeshwori Industries produces diapers under the brands Nyano and Tender Touch, and was Nepal’s top diaper exporter in 2023 and 2024.

Located in Ramgram, just 12 km from the Sunauli border, the company benefits from duty-free access under the Nepal–India Trade Treaty and reduced logistics costs.

With over 100 employees, the company now plans to expand capacity to meet growing demand and is open to OEM partnerships with Indian firms seeking affordable and quality alternatives.
