Cargomar Private Limited has successfully completed the multimodal transportation of 12 over-dimensional cargo (ODC) pieces from Vietnam to India’s West Coast, marking a significant milestone in project logistics.

The operation involved meticulous planning to navigate infrastructure and compliance challenges across borders. The movement was executed with specialised trailers for inland transportation in both Vietnam and India, vessel chartering to ensure smooth international carriage, and double-banking barge operations at both the port of loading and port of discharge to bypass road restrictions for ODC movement.

The seamless execution of this project underscored Cargomar’s ability to integrate multiple transport modes while ensuring safety and efficiency.

“We sincerely thank our partners in Vietnam and our dedicated Projects Team, whose expertise and precision planning made this achievement possible,” the company said in a statement.

With this success, Cargomar reinforced its commitment to taking on logistics challenges of every scale and delivering reliable, innovative solutions.
