The return filing compliance of top 2000Taxpayees, who contribute 90% of the revenue of the Commissionerate, went upto 96% from around 80% at the beginning of the financial year 2022-23.It is also heartening to note that 95% to 98% of the revenue of the Commissionerate has been realised every month of the F.Y. 2023-24, within two days of the due date of return filing, which reveals not only substantial growth of tax compliance, but also promptness with which taxes were being paid, at Kutch.
