China Southern Airlines and My Freighter have signed an interline cargo agreement aimed at expanding network connectivity and enhancing service options for global freight customers.

The partnership will enable both carriers to offer seamless cargo transfers across their respective route networks under a single booking arrangement. Through the interline framework, shipments can be routed more efficiently between Asia, the Middle East, and other key international markets served by the two airlines.

Industry sources said the agreement is expected to improve transit times, optimise aircraft utilisation, and provide customers with greater flexibility in cargo movement. The collaboration will also allow both airlines to tap into new trade lanes and strengthen their presence in high-growth markets.

China Southern, one of Asia’s largest carriers, brings an extensive domestic and international network to the partnership, while My Freighter contributes its growing freighter operations and strategic positioning in Central Asia. The tie-up is seen as a step toward building stronger multimodal and cross-regional logistics linkages.

Both companies indicated that the agreement aligns with their broader strategy to enhance global connectivity, support rising e-commerce volumes, and deliver integrated air cargo solutions.

The interline deal is expected to come into effect shortly, with commercial teams coordinating to integrate booking systems and operational procedures.
