    CMA CGM announced it will implement a new overweight surcharge from the Middle East Gulf to North Europe, Scandinavia, Poland, the Baltic, the West Mediterranean, the East Mediterranean, the Adriatic, North Africa, and Morocco.

    The new surcharge will be effective from 15 November 2023 (loading date), until further notice and will apply to dry cargo.

    CMA CGM said the new overweight surcharge will be US$50 per 20′ dry box with a container gross weight of more than 14 tons.
