Starting from 18 January 2025, and until further notice, CMA CGM will implement a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS).

This will apply to cargo originating from Mediterranean ports, including those in France (Fos/Marseilles), Portugal, Italy, Spain (Algeciras, Valencia, Barcelona, Sagunto, Vigo), and Morocco, destined for the US East Coast, the US Gulf, and all inland destinations accessible via these ports.

The surcharge will apply to all cargo types except out-of-gauge (OOG) and breakbulk. For dry cargo, the rates will be US$1,300 per 20-foot container, US$2,000 per 40-foot or 40-foot high-cube container, and US$2,500 per 45-foot container.

For reefer cargo, the rates will be US$1,300 per 20-foot container and US$2,500 per 40-foot or 45-foot container.
