    CMA CGM, the French carrier, has announced new Freight All Kinds (FAK) rates, effective from 1 September 2024, until further notice.

    These updated FAK rates will apply to cargo originating from all main ports in the West Mediterranean, Black Sea, Adriatic, East Mediterranean, and North Africa, with destinations at all base ports in the Red Sea.

    CMA CGM’s customers must note that outports in the Red Sea and the Mediterranean will incur additional surcharges. In addition, the rates apply to both dry cargo and paying empty containers.
