    CMA CGM announced the revamped AMERIGO service connecting the Mediterranean and North America, commencing on February 10th, 2025.

    This enhanced service will offer customers expanded coverage from Southern to Northern Italian ports.

    Key improvements include a new rotation encompassing Algeciras, Salerno, La Spezia, Genoa, Vado Ligure, Valencia, Algeciras, New York, Norfolk, Savannah, and Miami.

    The addition of Salerno to the rotation provides direct service to South Italy markets. Customers can expect fast transit times from Valencia to the US East Coast, with arrivals in New York in 12 days, Norfolk in 15 days, Savannah in 17 days, and Miami in 20 days.

    The service features a direct call to Miami and includes both Westbound and Eastbound calls in Algeciras, Spain, offering optimal connections to the CMA CGM network.
