CMA CGM announced a reshuffle of its MEDEX service, introducing a new relay through Alexandria and Beirut. According to the company, the change aims to improve connectivity and transit times between the Mediterranean, the Indian Subcontinent, the Middle East Gulf, and the Red Sea in both directions.

The service will operate weekly, with coverage linking the Levant region to and from the Indian Subcontinent and Middle East areas. CMA CGM highlighted faster transit times to and from the East Mediterranean via Alexandria and Beirut, connected with SSL Mediterranean services.

The first Alexandria import call is scheduled to be operated by the vessel CMA CGM MOZART with an estimated time of arrival on November 6. The first Beirut export call was completed by CMA CGM TITUS with an estimated time of arrival on October 23.

CMA CGM is a French shipping and logistics company operating one of the largest container fleets in the world. The group provides maritime, air, and inland transport services, as well as logistics solutions through its subsidiaries.
