Introducing enhanced strategies for the Intramed market, the CMA CGM – Short Sea Lines Division is excited to reveal the reshuffling of their TULYB and GTL services, effective from WEEK 2&3, covering services between TURKEY | GREECE | CYPRUS | LEBANON | MALTA | LIBYA.
The revamped TULYB configuration is tailored to cater to the North Turkey – Egypt – Libya markets, ensuring swift and direct connections. Simultaneously, the updated GTL setup is designed to serve Greece– Cyprus – Lebanon – South Turkey – Libya markets.
Commencing from Aliaga on 10 January 2024, and Thessaloniki on 8 January 2024, these modified weekly services aim to sustain robust maritime links across the entire East Med region and Libya. They will also provide global connectivity through our regional hubs in Beirut, Alexandria, and Malta.
Key features of TULYB include a fleet comprising 2 vessels x 1,300 TEU nom., with a rotation covering ALIAGA (Turkiye) – GEMLIK (Turkiye) – AMBARLI (Turkiye) – ALEXANDRIA Old port (Egypt) – MISURATA (Libya) – ALIAGA. The service frequency is set weekly, commencing from Aliaga on 17/01/24. Notably, transit times include Ambarli-Misurata in 6 days, Ambarli-Alexandria in 3 days, and Gemlik-Misurata in 7 days.
GTL will be characterized by the following key features:
The fleet will consist of 4 vessels with a nominal capacity of 1,700 TEU each. The rotation will cover THESSALONIKI – PIRAEUS – LIMASSOL – BEIRUT – ISKENDERUN – MALTA – TRIPOLI – MISURATA – THESSALONIKI. The service will operate weekly. Operations will commence from ETA THESSALONIKI on 08/01/24. Transit times include Thessaloniki-Limassol in 5 days, Piraeus-Limassol in 2 days, Thessaloniki-Iskenderun in 8 days, and Iskenderun-Tripoli in 6 days.
