CMA CGM is enhancing its barge service connecting Lyon with Fos Eurofos and Seayard 2XL Terminals via the strategic intermodal hub, Lyon Rhône Terminal.

The upgraded solution strengthens business competitiveness and operational efficiency across the Rhône-Alpes region.

This optimised barge service supports modal shift, reduces environmental impact, and complements CMA CGM’s Lyon rail service via the Northern Port Corridor.

This optimised barge service offers daily departures in each direction, providing greater flexibility for your supply chain.

It delivers just two-day intermodal transit times to Lyon and the surrounding areas.

The service also provides direct access to six core maritime services on key global trade routes, ensuring seamless global connectivity.

Recently, Red Sea Gateway Terminal (RSGT) and the CMA CGM Group signed a Term Sheet for a potential joint venture to develop and operate Terminal 4 at Jeddah Islamic Port.
