    The Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA) yesterday (2) received three STS Gantry cranes at the East Container Terminal (ECT) of the Colombo port. They were among 12 brand new 12 STS Gantry cranes and 40 ARMG cranes from China valued at USD 282 million to be taken delivery in stages, the SLPA said.

    The SLPA said that the cranes will be installed at the ECT of the Port of Colombo. The total cost of the cranes are borne by the Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA).
