Container Corporation of India Limited (CONCOR) achieved another significant milestone in its pursuit of sustainable and integrated logistics solutions with the flagging off of the inaugural export shipment from its Multimodal Logistics Park (MMLP) at Kadakola, Mysuru.
The first export consignment, moving in a CONCOR-owned container, is being routed via CONCOR’s Inland Container Depot (ICD) at Tondiarpet (TNPM), Chennai, to the Maldives. The inaugural movement was flagged off on November 3, 2025, by the CMD of CONCOR in the presence of Shri Prabhas Dansana, Principal Executive Director (TT), Railway Board, along with CONCOR’s strategic leadership team.
This initiative marks a major step in expanding CONCOR’s international logistics footprint and enhancing trade connectivity between southern India and overseas markets.
Adding to the significance of the event, the initial leg of the journey was executed using CONCOR’s eco-friendly LNG-powered vehicle, underscoring the company’s strong commitment to sustainability and green logistics.
Speaking on the occasion, the CMD of CONCOR said, “This milestone exemplifies our dedication to creating seamless, multimodal, and sustainable logistics solutions that connect India’s production hubs to global destinations. Our MMLP at Kadakola is poised to become a key gateway for southern India’s exports.”
With this development, CONCOR continues to strengthen its position as a leading provider of integrated logistics services, leveraging innovation, technology, and green transportation to drive India’s trade competitiveness.
