In a significant boost to multimodal logistics connectivity, Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) has successfully commenced domestic outward container movement from Mysore to Shalimar, Kolkata.

The inaugural operation saw the loading and dispatch of 80 twenty-foot domestic containers from MMLP-Kadakola (GCCK), Mysore, to Shalimar, marking the beginning of a new rail-based logistics corridor connecting southern and eastern India.

The launch is expected to enhance supply chain efficiency by providing customers with improved cargo movement options, faster transit solutions, and greater operational flexibility. The service will also strengthen multimodal transportation capabilities in the region, supporting the seamless movement of domestic cargo through CONCOR’s extensive rail logistics network.

The successful dispatch underscores CONCOR’s continued commitment to delivering reliable, integrated, and sustainable transportation solutions while expanding its domestic containerized cargo services across the country.
