COSCO SHIPPING Specialized Carriers (Southeast Asia) has officially inaugurated its Philippines Representative Office in Manila on January 26, marking a significant step in the company’s global expansion and localization strategy.

The new office strengthens COSCO SHIPPING’s presence in Southeast Asia and brings the company closer to its customers in the Philippines. It is expected to enhance responsiveness to rising logistics demand fueled by the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) and the deepening economic cooperation between China and the Philippines, particularly across infrastructure, energy, and equipment manufacturing sectors.

Positioned as a forward hub for market development and project support, the Philippines office will play a key role in integrating local operations with COSCO SHIPPING’s extensive global network. This move further reinforces the company’s overseas service capabilities and its commitment to supporting regional trade and industrial growth.
