CU Lines has expanded its China–Gulf Express (CGX) service by adding Duqm in Oman as a new port of call, replacing Sohar in the revised rotation, according to DynaLiners.

The carrier introduced the change earlier this month, strengthening the service’s connectivity between China, Southeast Asia and the Gulf region.

Operating on a three-weekly frequency, the revised CGX service rotation is: Qingdao – Ningbo – Shenzhen (Shekou) – Nansha – Port Klang – Khor Fakkan – Duqm – Qingdao

The updated rotation provides direct container connectivity between major Chinese ports, Malaysia, the UAE and Oman, offering additional access to regional trade gateways.

The inclusion of Duqm further enhances Oman’s position in regional maritime trade and expands the port’s connectivity with key Asian shipping markets.
