Deendayal Port Authority (DPA) has achieved a significant milestone by surpassing the handling of 30 million metric tonnes (MMT) of cargo in the first quarter itself. This marks the fastest achievement of this target in the organization’s history. The previous year’s cargo handling volume for the corresponding period was 3.3 MMT, highlighting a substantial increase this year.
DPA Attributes Success to Teamwork and Leadership
This accomplishment is attributed to the leadership of the Chairperson and Dy. Chairperson, along with the relentless efforts and dedication of Heads of Departments (HODs) and the entire team. An instrumental role was played by Traffic Manager Ratna Sekhar Rao in achieving this milestone. DPA management acknowledged their hard work and commitment for propelling the organization to new heights in operational performance. The management also expressed sincere appreciation for the continuous support and guidance received.
