Delhivery announced the setting up of Lucknow Gateway Hub, which is spread across 1 lakh sq ft.

With the new infrastructure, Delhivery now offers 40% more [processing capacity/ throughput/load handling capacity] to meet the requirements of the region’s needs and incorporates automation to handle shipment volumes with efficiency. The hub also includes two automated sortation systems with a 5,000 throughput per hour capacity for rapid and precise shipment processing.

“Our operations in Lucknow and nearby areas are central to our business. This expansion helps local businesses by allowing them to ship goods across the country more quickly. Beyond commerce, this development will boost related industries such as packaging, transport, and local delivery services, generating employment in the area. Nearing the festive period, this setup will improve how customers experience our services, making them prompt and accurate,” said Dingtang Tikhak, Senior Vice President, Regional Hub Operations, Delhivery.

Delhivery’s expansion in Lucknow is also a step forward in empowering local entrepreneurs and businesses. With the layout offering 1,300+ bin locations and the ability to hold more than 17,000 shipments, businesses in the region can prepare themselves for the festive season. They can now store goods locally and ship them nationwide with ease, expanding their reach and improving delivery time.

The expanded Lucknow hub is part of Delhivery’s broader northern India network covering Uttar Pradesh, Delhi-NCR, which includes a network of hundreds of hubs and gateways, and 450+ distribution centers. Supported by a growing ecosystem of franchise partners, the infrastructure helps thousands of businesses—especially MSMEs—access reliable and scalable logistics services to reach customers in every corner of the country.
