    The newly built W-Max class LNG carrier “Lagenda Setia” for Petronas LNG was delivered at Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding (Group).

    The vessel, which is the same kind as the other two ships delivered to Petronas in May and June 2022, was named “Lagenda Setia” on 21 August 2023 by Sharifah Fauziah Wan Idrus, PETRONAS COO and EVP & CEO of Gas Business.

    Moreover, the naming ceremony was attended by management and personnel from PETRONAS, Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding (Group), Shenergy (Group), ICBC Financial Leasing, and Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha.

    The Lagenda ship and two sister vessels will transport LNG from Malaysia (Bintulu) to China (Shanghai) for Shenergy (Group).
