    The Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL) held a high-level meeting with DB International to explore potential partnership opportunities for optimising Operations and Maintenance (O&M) across India’s Dedicated Freight Corridors.

    The discussions focused on leveraging DB International’s global expertise in asset management, digital O&M solutions, benchmarking, maintenance planning, safety enhancement, and capacity building to further strengthen DFCCIL’s operational efficiency and sustainability.

    The meeting was chaired by Shri Praveen Kumar, Managing Director, DFCCIL, and was attended by senior DFCCIL officials, including Shri Shobhit Bhatnagar, Director (Operations & Business Development); Shri Anurag Sharma, Director (Infrastructure); Shri Manish K. Awasthy, Executive Director (Infrastructure); Shri Sandesh Srivastava, Executive Director (Projects); Shri Ajay Kumar, Executive Director (Asset Management); Shri Saurabh Singh Patel, Group General Manager (Bridge); Shri Amit Saurashtri, General Manager (CC); and Shri Vivek, Joint General Manager (CC).

    The DB International delegation included Ms. Jorra Piorr Zasada, Chief Sales Officer, DB International Operations; Mr. Michael Kortuem, Chief Operating Officer, DB RRTS and Member of the Board of Directors, DB RRTS; and Mr. Kumar Keshav, Director (Business Development – India), DB International Operations and Member of the Board of Directors, DB RRTS.

    During the interaction, Shri Praveen Kumar presented DFCCIL’s History Book and Coffee Table Book to the DB International team, symbolising DFCCIL’s journey and achievements in developing world-class freight rail infrastructure in India.

    The meeting marked an important step toward exploring global best practices and collaborative approaches to enhance the long-term performance, safety, and efficiency of India’s Dedicated Freight Corridors.
