The Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL) has achieved a significant business milestone by onboarding AVG Logistics Private Limited under its Trucks on Train (ToT) service, with operations commencing between New Palanpur and New Rewari.

The successful rollout of the service marks another step forward in DFCCIL’s efforts to strengthen multimodal logistics and promote a modal shift from road to rail. The initiative was spearheaded by Praveen Kumar, Managing Director, under the guidance of Shobhit Bhatnagar, Director (Operations & Business Development).

The development follows sustained engagement and multiple rounds of discussions between Rajendra Singh Choudhary, CGM (Jaipur), along with the Business Development team, and Sanjay Gupta, Managing Director of AVG Logistics. Their coordinated efforts culminated in the successful movement of trucks on the dedicated freight corridor.

According to officials, AVG Logistics has proposed regular operations of multiple trucks in both directions on the New Palanpur–New Rewari route. The move is expected to enhance efficiency, reduce transit time, and lower carbon emissions, reinforcing DFCCIL’s commitment to sustainable and cost-effective freight transportation solutions.

The onboarding of AVG Logistics further strengthens DFCCIL’s growing ToT portfolio and underlines the increasing industry confidence in rail-based multimodal logistics services.
