Vitesco Technologies and DHL have forged a strategic partnership to enhance logistics resilience and sustainability in the automotive industry, with DHL Supply Chain assuming the role of Lead Logistics Partner (LLP) for Vitesco Technologies in Europe. Under this collaboration, DHL will centrally manage logistics operations for twelve Vitesco Technologies European locations from its LLP Center of Excellence in Warsaw, Poland, effective March 2024. This encompasses approximately 100,000 transport movements, constituting a significant portion of Vitesco Technologies’ freight volume.

Thomas Kirchermeier, Head of Supply Chain Management at Vitesco Technologies, emphasised the commitment to sustainable business practices, aiming for CO2-neutral operations by 2040. By leveraging DHL’s expertise, Vitesco Technologies anticipates optimised logistics processes and reduced CO2 emissions through efficient route planning and the utilisation of environmentally friendly transport methods. The partnership leverages DHL’s extensive network to enhance supply chain efficiency and reliability, driving towards mutual sustainability goals and operational excellence.

Hendrik Venter, CEO of DHL Supply Chain Europe, Middle East, and Africa, underscored the joint efforts to standardise and orchestrate logistics processes, aiming to minimise CO2 emissions and enhance supply chain resilience on a global scale.
