    Deendayal Port Authotirty achieved another record by loading the largest parcel size in the Kandla Harbour area. On 18-09-2023, a vessel named MV GCL Godavari was loaded with 1,16,000 MT of Salt in bulk, thus becoming the vessel with highest parcel ever loaded in the Kandla Harbour area, surpassing the previous record of highest shipment of 1,03,800 MT. The vessel sailed out with a draft of 14.5m.

    The exporter for this consignment was The Kutch Salt and Allied Industries and the vessel agent was Chowgule Brothers Pvt. Ltd. Stevedoring was handled by Gautam Freight Pvt. Ltd.
